At the University of Colorado School of Medicine Anschutz Medical Campus, she has been the primary instructor for Dermatologic residents during their Cosmetic Dermatology experience.

Surgical
Dr. Schroeder is one of the few Dermatologists in Florida, formally fellowship-trained in Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology.
Her training involved extensive facial reconstruction, overlapping much of what is taught in traditional Plastic Surgery fellowships. Dr. Schroeder performs all of her procedures under mild sedation and localized anesthesia;
you are never under general anesthesia. She has had 20 years of experience working on sensitive cosmetic areas and is known for excellent cosmetic results.
Dr. Schroeder routinely performs skin cancer surgeries, mole excisions, surgical revisions of existing scars, tumescent liposuction, fat transfers, lower face and neck lifts, blepharoplasties, and continues to expand her offerings. She performs tumescent liposuction and fat transfers and is currently expanding her aesthetic procedures.
Meet Susan Schroeder, MD, FAAD
Susan Schroeder, MD is both a skilled dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. Although she addresses all aspects of general dermatology and is a recognized expert in skin cancer diagnosis/treatment, her true calling is cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She treats all ages, from infants to the elderly.
Dr. Schroeder is a board-certified dermatologist with additional formal fellowship training in procedures such as Mohs Micrographic Surgery and cosmetic surgery including laser treatments, liposuction, fat transfer, surgical lifts, and injectables (neuromodulators[Botox] and fillers). She is one of a select few in southeast Florida with this advanced level of training (6 years of additional training after medical school). As a former Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at The University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Schroeder pioneered the inception of the cosmetic dermatology and cosmeceutical division at the University. For the first time, residents were formally taught and exposed (with hands-on training) to this specialty field.
