You don’t have to say anything for your smile to speak volumes about you. Does it bother you to see your lips losing their natural contour or surrounded by fine lines? Are you afraid of undergoing treatment due to fears of acquiring the dreaded or overinflated duck lips? By turning to a highly qualified, experienced, and artistic Board-certified dermatologist and injector, those fears are non-existent.. Nothing can stand between you and getting your perfected pout back in Dr. Schroeder’s office serving Juno Beach, Jupiter, and North Palm Beach, Florida.
Attractive lips are generally full and have a defined dark border surrounded by smooth, soft, and non-wrinkled skin. Since the lips are such a central feature of the face, attractive and balanced lips can awaken and boost overall appearance. Yet, as a talented and knowledgeable dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon, Dr. Schroeder intimately understands that every person has one-of-a-kind anatomical features and other nuances, including unique goals and beauty ideals. Enhancing the specific architecture of the lip to make it appear younger is something that Dr. Schroeder knows well.
For this reason, we do not take a “cookie-cutter” approach to planning treatments that beautify your lips. After all, you may like the fullness of your lips. Loss of definition, or “smoker’s lines” may be a bigger concern for you. For others, lips may have thinned substantially over time, or perhaps you feel that they have always appeared too thin for your face. Various products and techniques may be recommended to address those specific needs and goals.
An entire category of non-surgical aesthetic services exists to do everything from lifting facial attributes, enhancing architecture to filling-in wrinkles. These injectable fillers may also plump up a small or thin pout. Dr. Schroeder prefers Hyaluronic Acid-based fillers, such as those from the Belotero® or Restylane® family. Her skilled hands inject these precisely to achieve a soft, subtle, natural appearance. Results may be supported for several months and up to a full year. Additionally, such smooth filler products may be used to improve the appearance of perioral lines or oral commissures at the corners of the mouth.
While Dr. Schroeder supports natural results with all of her products, some patients may prefer to plump or otherwise boost the look and feel of their lips with their tissue. This process is considered a “natural lip filler” and involves transferring fat from another part of your body to the area of the lips that could use support and augmentation. Once introduced to the lips, it integrates into the underlying tissues. It is considered a particularly low-risk approach because we use fat from the patient’s body. In turn, the risks of rejection or allergies are avoided. Dr. Schroeder’s innovative microdroplet technique facilitates the most natural-looking and durable results.
Many factors can influence your experience and results, from the specific product used to your injector’s skill and how your body metabolizes the filler. Dr. Schroeder injects all products herself. From her office in Juno Beach, FL, she also partners with patients on skincare regimens and products to optimize and sustain those lovely results from lip fillers and other treatments. You can get the most out of each treatment by caring for your skin and yourself. Serving Jupiter, North Palm Beach, and surrounding areas, our team can be reached at 561-462-1965.
We look forward to hearing from and meeting you!
